MEDVIRKENDE /PARTICIPANTS:
Jens Braarvig is professor of Religious Studies, UiO, and has worked with religious philosophical questions from several cultures, including the Indian and the Greek antiquity and its influence on later European religious history.

Åsa Cederqvist is a visual artist who works with various materials in order to modify the meaning thereof to create new platforms for communication and to transpose power structures. She was educated with MFA 2000 Konstfack, Stockholm. Recent shows include Power is exercised, Bomuldsfabriken, Arendal (ongoing, 2013), Síndrome - Context, modes and structure, La Capella, Barcelona (2013), Excavation, Wetterling gallery, (2013), Sideshow - Tanz im August, Berlin (2012), Swedish Conceptual Art, Kalmar Konstmuseum, Kalmar (2010), Darker than Night, Casino Metropolitano, Mexico City (2010). She has done several pedagogical commissions within the art context in cooperation with collegestudents or younger. Since 2010 she is senior lecturer of Fine arts at the Textile programme at Konstfack. 

Svend Davanger is a physician and professor of neuroanatomy at the University of Oslo. He was born in 1958. His research is aimed at synaptic plasticity in the brain, and he also studies brain activation processes during meditation. He graduated from the University of Oslo in 1988, where he also obtained a PhD on brain synapses in 1995. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University in 1995 to 1997. He was associate professor at the University of Bergen from 1997 to 2003. He has also studied psychology and anthropology. He has practiced Acem meditation daily since 1978 and has participated in annual retreats in meditation of at least one week's duration. He has been teaching meditation since 1981. He also practices yoga. He has been a member of the editorial board of the cultural journal Dyade since 2011.

Dagfinn Føllesdal is a Norwegian philosopher. Føllesdal have received numerous prestigious awards, and is a professor emeritus at Harvard and Oslo, as well as visiting professor at Berkeley and the College de France.

Lars Jørun Langøien holds a PhD. in social anthropology from the Department of Social Anthropology at NTNU, Trondheim. His doctoral dissertation is titled ““Pay attention – Listen to your heart!” - Unfolding practice, changing realities and awareness of the embodied self in Ashtanga yoga” and evolves around the interconnections between physical practice, experience, embodiment and the production of meaning in the lived realities of Western yoga practitioners in Mysore, India. His research interests are bodily experience, embodiment, participation in practice, phenomenology, boundaries and differences which makes a difference, the challenges and merits of (anthropological/qualitative) methodology, the relationship between society and health, in addition to the development and dissemination of knowledge.

Petrine Lillevold Vinje holds a MFA from KHiO, 2005 and initiated and implemented Anatomical Theatre, as well as curated associated events during the Norwegian Sculpture Biennale 2013. She will in 2013/14 be implementing the project AGLA HAGLA under the Arts Council Norways initiative -Hva er det med arkiv? and participate in the exhibition Lust for Life at Darb 1718, Cairo.

One month until opening of Norsk Skulpturbiennale 2013 Over bekken etter vann

On a central location of the Vigelandspark a reconstrution of the anatomical theatre in Uppsala University will be erected. The project Anatomical Theatre also consist of a symposium, a performanceprogram and filmprogram.
